These three bowls, (4pieces) came from the one blank. They have been sitting and waiting in a box of shavings for a couple of years. In fact I thought I had lost them.
Because it was a green end grain blank I had a problem with the coring out, it ripped the centre piece from each blank so that had to be repaired. I decided to use shavings and CA to patch the holes, but have decided not to do that again.
The small bowl uses the two smallest pieces, that was the only way I could make use of the little bit from the centre.
They are all sanded to 400 grit, left all the holes untouched and have a satin finish.
The largest bowl is 8in x 5in tall,
Middle one is 6.5in x 3in tall, and
Little one is 4.5in x 3in tall.
