This is my 2nd cast I posted earlier tonight. I decided to make this into a Zen kit which I got from exotics. I can see the brass tube some, but it actually highlights the coloring. I would have painted the inside of the blank, but I was anxious to turn a blank I made. It turned nicely. I could hear air bubbles pop from time to time, but it never gave me issues. I hope you all like this one. I am for sure casting more soon lol.

I am getting some good comments at work on this pen. I am going to have to order more Zen kits. Next time I know though, paint the tube at the very least to make the blank darker. Thanks for the feedback.
 
Looks great Todd. The zen has become my favorite kit as well. Shows off a blank for sure! You can also add a bit more mica to the PR for a bit more opaque blank. Still recommend painting, but the paint won't have as big of an impact on the overall colors in the blank.
