I wish you all a very Happy New Year!
Thought I'd do a small recap of all pens I've made and what I've learnt last year.
These are the first two I posted back in August:
September:
October:
November brought the first clip!:
December:
I am trying to make these shapes into "models", but I'm still missing names for them..
I also visited a jewellery making course in November and December and got some nice ideas.
This was going to be a cap band, but I made some miscalculations. Doesn't look that bad on the body though!
Not a brilliant photo, sorry about that!
And here's the last one, my new pride and joy:
The nib on that is a vintage Aiken Lambert with a pleasant amount of flex. (friction fit into and ebonite section) First eyedropper and it doesn't leak as of now!
I'm really proud of this one, as you might be able to tell.
I hope to be able to make (and sell! I sold two, and three were gifts..) many more in the new year!
Thanks for looking,
Geoffrey
