Johnny, The pen is beautiful but I can't see the natural design of the diamonds if it is a diamondback. What type of snake is it? If diamondback it looks like you did not clean the scales off the dried skin. I'm just curious[:D]

Bev, the scales are cleaned off. It is a diamondback. If you look you can see the diamonds on the pen. There are two on the bottom barrel and about one and a half on the top barrel.

The guy that got the skins has done this many many many times so i trust what he is doing.

It looks like the entire blank was submerged in the resin. How did you keep the resin out of the brass tubes? Just curious. By the way, nice looking pen.
