First pen

Howdy all,
Dove directly into kitless after collecting a number of Pelikans and Sailors. I present my first complete and functional pen and only after ruining one or two blanks. Made on my LMS Mini Lathe. Acrylic Acetate with a Jowo #6 and Schmidt k5. A few cosmetic issues from mixing up my handwheels but pretty happy with how it came out.

That's a pretty short learning curve if you only messed up a couple getting to this.

I'm very fortunate in that I can pick up new skills fairly easily but it did help that I jumped to a softer plastic after snaping an inlace blank while trying to thread it. Setting yourself up for success is half the battle.
