Rhodium jr gent 1 kit with the faux-urushi blanks I've been working on. I have a long way to go but I have to say that I'm pretty proud of this one. :biggrin:

I like the looks of the blank as well. Great pattern! And from the looks of the pen overall, it looks pretty darn good!

Garrett...first a comment. The pattern looks fantastic...faux-urushi or otherwise. For not having the real deal you are really getting close.

Now the critique..

From what I see and from what I've experienced in the past is you are going to have a really hard time with this particular style of application to match the diameters of the component parts. I don't even bother anymore. Semi-kitless or full on kitless is the only way to keep your sanity.
Looking good though.
