First Pen Post

Here is my second ever pen and my first pen post.

The kit is a Rockler Sierra with a Cocobolo insert with several layers of medium CA. I still have plenty of practice still to improve my skills but so far I'm pretty proud of this one.

Please let let know what you think and tips/tricks are more than welcome.

Very good start. I started off with cocobolo on several of my pens. Strangely enough I don't use it much anymore. Looks like you picked out a good match of kit and wood on this pen too. I wasn't even close to doing a ca finish on my 2nd pen, great job with it.

Thanks for the compliments. Although I'm just beginning I am having a blast.
I'm picking up my new addition to the work bench this week. A Craftsman 10inch drill press with 1/2 chuck, $75 in great shape with detachable vise.
