My daughter and her husband were able to spend Christmas with us and he asked if I could show him how to turn a pen. He chose a nice piece of Amboyna burl to match with a cigar kit. I watched over his shoulder as he completed every step in making his first pen. It was a lot of fun to see him getting so much enjoyment out of turning it and being rewarded with this nice looking pen. Not bad for his first ever pen!

What a great evening for you both! I remember how much fun it was attending my pen turning class. I expect he will make a few more visits soon so he can start making more with you.

I

Too bad he lives so far away. This pen will make its home in Cleveland, Ohio and travel to Severance Hall with him.
