First kitless in 8 years

I had been away from pens since 2013, but I finally found my way back to IAP last fall and decided to start turning again at the beginning of the year.

I recently finished a few kits that I had glued up years ago to get started, and recently decided I was ready to make the move back into the kitless world.

The pen is made with a Bock #5 nib. I used a 12mm single start for the cap treads to keep the color pattern properly aligned when closed.

That looks amazing! I watched a video last night. It was start to finish making a kitless pen. That is a serious skill.
