I like how it turned out. This kit also required a tenon cut, which was tricky for me as a beginner. I cut it a tiny bit too deep, but since the band got glued on anyway, it didn't hurt anything.

Looks nice. What kind of chisel did you use to cut the tenon? I use a cut off tool for tenons. It allows me to get a nice square edge on it.

It was a carbide tool with a blade shaped like a diamond. I definitely struggled with getting a square edge.
