I didn't use any liquid coloring, which I think would solve the problem when the PR got close to the tube (the middle is really light). Another idea that I saw somewhere (I think it was a post by Ed (YoYoSpin)) was to mix some coloring agent into some epoxy and use that to help with the color problem too. Although I'm not happy with the coloring (when it gets thin, you can see the individual pigment pieces), I am pleased with the way the material turned and finished. Next time I cast some colors, I think I'll either go with some liquid color, or add a more of the pigment.
