First herringbone. FAIL

Well my first shot at a herringbone was a learning experience. material choice was poor. Not enough contrast. I forgot to sand the ca off of middle side of the bottom blank. And a segment broke on assembly. This is how I learn I guess.

Btw. It's rosewood ebony and ivory.
