I bought a new vacuum pot and pump with the proceeds from a couple Christmas sales. Built a box for a piece of sumac that was too big for one blank but not big enough to cut down- and had cracks. Poured some epoxy in and vacuumed it gradually up to 29. Made a nice blank.
