Bought of bunch of this from larryc. It's dense and turns very nicely - no special concerns other than the usual sharp tools prerequisite.

One doesn't have to, but I wanted a darker finish, so I slapped a few coats of CA on it. Good stuff. Quite frankly, I would think this would make better gun stocks than the spectra ply. I may use the Dymondwood cut offs to make a bottle stopper - this stuff is dense, but I found it very easy to turn.
