Very nice looking, but let me ask a dumb question- what is the white/ivory part? Is is part of the wood itself? Looks like it could be but it so light on my 'puter it alomost looks like resin filler. Either way, a nice pen.

The light wood is the non burl part of the blank and has a nice curl to it. It runs all the way down the length of the pen on the other side, pretty cool, actually.
