For a first attempt I think it came out quite well if I may say so myself.
I would like to thank this group for the inspiration and the instructions on how to accomplish this pen.
Without you all I probably would have never achieved success.

Great job, Looks very precise. The infill looks wider than most. How thick are they and what angle did you cut at? My first Celtic pen was a hot mess, yours is great. Looking forward to seeing many more.
Nice work for sure. A more varied color would work and also thinner blade used would help. I like to cut mine at 52 degree and for some reason that looks tighter and should be a little more stretched out than mine. Maybe because the infill. I like 1/16" to 3/32" for infill. Anyway good job and hope to see more.
David; Very nicely aligned! You can use a 7-1/4" circular saw blade to create a narrower kerf This will reduce your depth of cut, but for pen blanks it isn't important! This will not work on a SawStop saw.
