First bowl worth posting

Here is a little "winged" bowl I turned tonight. It's about 5" in diameter inside and probably 8" overall. I didn't finish the back side yet because I haven't built a donut chuck or any other method of finishing the bottom.

1 coat of TruOil on it. Watch the wings on your knuckles when sanding..it hurts like a mutha!

Just jam chuck it to finish the bottom.

Turn the outside first with a recess in the bottom to take a scroll chuck in expansion mode and then turn the inside.

Did that, but still need a method to finish the back side. Either a vacuum chuck or a donut chuck or something. I just haven't had time to make one or the other yet.
