First attemt on segmented pen

This is my first attempt on doing segmented pens, i used quad moldings from the hardware shop, don't know what wood it is, some sort of hardwood, finnish is 10 layers of CA and polished with mm and using brass polish as final

Nicely done! Long segments the length of the Pen are a challenge to get parallel and you did a fine job!!

I agree with BeSquare. That's not the easiest way to segment, and you did a great job.

Actually I find that segmenting lengthwise like that is very difficult. To keep everything right is not an easy task but you were up to it. Keep up the good work this is a great looking pen.

You're off to a great start. Like the others have said it's difficult to get things perfectly parallel with segments like that.
