Finished building a thin rip sled and adjustable stop. This pen was assembled by all pieces cut using my jigs. I am very happy with the results from my day in the workshop. It is an elegant Manhattan from Rockler. Woods are Purple Heart, grandillo and maple. IMG_1043.jpgIMG_1044.jpg

Excellent Segmented Pen Ken.
Your Sled is working well,
Nicely Constructed Segmented Blank,
Well Turned and Finished.
While the Pen is the Object of the Photograph, That Magnificent Segmented Box, and Wooden Segmented Ribbon, takes all the attention of the viewer.
I found it near Impossible to concentrate my eye's onto the Pen.
That Box is so Powerful. Is it one of your Creations?
Also the Colourful Table Cloth, is also another distraction.
Congratulations, I look forward to seeing More of your work.
Regards,
Brian.

Yes I also made the box. That box is a subject here as well in the "other things we make" section. The tablecloth is actually a placemat that my wife made.

I love when folks post "First Attempt" (and it looks like my 50th attempt!). Nice work. And what's the dog's name?
