First attempt at Decal/stamp

I didn't have any stamps so I printed some up using clear decal paper (all I had at the time). I thought maybe they would conform to the blank better also. You can notice a little gap in the pictures but it is hard to see on the blank. I'll post finished pictures after the CA drys. The pictures are before the CA. I am hoping it will pull the decal in a little.

Hi Mike. When I first did decals I had the same problem. The more curved (bulbous) the barrel, the less likely you will be able to get the decal to lay flat on the barrel. If you apply CA now you will see what looks like air pockets under the decal. Before you do the CA I'd suggest turning the barrel to less of a curve. That looks like a resin blank. Make sure it is very smooth before applying the decal. I always sand to at least 600 grit but usually go through micro mesh before I apply the decal.
