Here's my first submission to "Show Off", and a humble beginning.

Used my new Jet 1014VSi lathe and 5/8" Lacer Skew. Wet sanded 400 and 600, then wet MM to 12k. Buffed on single Beall Buffing wheel with White Diamond, then back to lathe for Hut Crystal Coat for final polish.

Used a white brass tube, and med-thick CA to glue. Satin Silver kit.

Put in a Schmidt Super Bowl 8900 Gel refill and it writes like a dream.

Hey...this is fun!

Nice pen, it seems to me we need to start a woodturners club, there's one fellow in Memphis, one in Eads, I'm all the way out in Mc Nairy but if we could find someplace to meetb around Sommerville I'd sure drive that far, there has to be more wood turners and pen turners around here

Thanks for your encouragement

Wow! I couldn't believe my pen made it to Featured photo. I'm honored!
Appreciate all your kind words of encouragment.

The blank is called Tie Die, from Woodcraft.

There are some other colors in that "series", like Persian Blue, that are a base color with the black/white swirl lines.

Thanks, y'all..!
