Cut these from the firewood pile. It's funny how it goes from being an "all-nighter" to "free pen blanks!". The first pic is red oak burl, the second is walnut and spalted sycamore (I think), and the third is all of the above.
It's going to be fun looking for more and better wood later!
Edit: this is also a test, the pictures are from my iPod and I want to know if they are good enough.
