Decided to take a break from the other projects and make a pen.
Not real pleased with that spectra-ply blank. There must be nearly 20 layers of CA and still there are holes. All I have is thin so that's my issue.
I like the kit except for the rivet in the pivot. It's kind of cheesy.

We all tend to point out what we think are mistakes, the pen looks great and probably no one would notice if you don't point them out.

Good looking pen. I bought 2 of these along with Berea's "Thin Red Line" blank. I'm going to make one for my nephew and, if I don't screw it up, I'll make the 2nd one for the local fire chief. Good job on that one.

Nicely Crafted Pen, Dale.
Great Fit, and the Finish, looks Fine.
IMHO, "I don't know how that Pen would be in my Shirt Pocket, That Axe Clip sit's pretty Proud of the Pen, I could see it catching my Jacket etc.
Regards,
Brian.

Thanks all for the kind words.
Someone at work wanted to buy it and I decided to trade it for some exotic wood pieces the family is getting rid of.
Not sure what they will bring but it should be interesting.
