Finishing?

I prefer the ca finish on most pens I make however when I put in a bead or burn lines the results are in my opinion less than desirable. (actually I will not sell them). My question is this, how do you prevent the ca build-up(for a lack of a better term)in the low area of the bead or the burned lines? I`ve tried all I can think of and have gone back to friction polish when I use a bead or burn lines. Any answers will be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance.

I apply ca with a paper towel and apply more pressure in the valleys to keep the ca from collecting there.

Exactly the same as Stan... I just try to make sure no CA puddles in the valleys....

I use wax paper to apply CA. Like the early post, I apply more pressure in the valleys and cuts.
