OK another newbie and I am sure this has been talked about forever. First with CA does everyone use the thin? Does everyone use just regular paper towel? BLO is it a must? I read somewhere tung oil did the same thing. I also heard there was a good video on You Tube? Next question who uses Hut PPP do you also use both brown & whit do you finish with wax after PPP. I have really improved on the turning and my finish looks nice now but from what I hear the friction won't last...

Thanks downloaded a couple of the articles and will give it a try looks like MM pads are a must I just go to 1500 paper right now guess that give me more to buy. How long do the mm pads last?

Newbie to newbie--go for the micro mesh! They are supposed to last a long time. Reports of a couple of years abound, hope mine go that distance. Have fun!
