I ordered some Meguiars Scratch X 2.0 and Meguiars M205 Ultra Finishing Polish and the finish I get now on acrylic or ca is outstanding. They recommend using sponges to apply so I also got the orange sponge for the scratch x and the yellow and white for the polish. After using all the mm grits I apply a small line of the scratch x with the lathe turning slow,to keep from throwing the product, then as I move the sponge back and forth on the blank I increase speed to 3-4 thousand rpms. After several passes at high speed I let the blank spin dry for a minute or so and the polish with an old white cotton sock or micro fiber. Repeat with the polish and you will have a fast excellent finish.
