All,
Sorry if this is a repost. I changed my forum email and now I don't see my original post. Anyway, I'm having problems finishing a pen made from Bolivian rosewood with CA/BLO.
Specifically, I get it sanded smooth, and apply the CA. It goes on a bit rough, so I know I need to flatten it out. Do I just use the 1500 MM, or should I use some other grit of sandpaper. No matter what I do, I always seem to get scratches in the finish. I've had to start again a number of times.
Does anybody have any idea what I might be messing up?
Thanks,
