How would you finish this type of blank, I tried to use friction polish for acrylic and messed the wood making it look opaque and darker, so I'll sand it back again, I believe I'll do CA on top. Any suggestions?

Treat it just like you would an all wood pen.

I've finished those kind of blanks both ways.....friction polish and ca. Both will work. The amount of acrylic or wood showing (also the type of wood) usually determines what kind of finish I go with.
