Finished setting up my garden - drone shots

I took a day off recently now that freezing temperatures are gone to work on my garden. Soil was amended, tilled, weeded and new drip watering lines were attached. The controllers don’t like freezing temps so they are back now. Everything works and is leak free. So far scared to plant as last year a late freeze set me back. The garden lives on the sunny south facing side of the shop.

There are 32 germinating bean seeds inside and fresh Burpee seeds are in the mail.

Quite the setup. Why do you use the cages? We also got a late frost last year. Looks like spring may be springing here as well.

Deer, squirrels, elk, raccoons etc.

My neighbor has 4 whippets so I don't have many animal problems except 1 gopher. Burpee seeds always work well. If you want to tempt yourself to try grow all kinds of interesting and strange plants take a look at Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds. I'm still a bit new to gardening so the "grand experiment" has been an interesting ride.

Mark, that is a unique and sweet looking protected garden set up that you have there!. Those cold temp stories sounds tuff for the one that enjoys gardening. A couple of weeks back, I just pulled, dried and strung up over hundred 1015 onions. Have started picking tomatoes, squash, zucchini, beets, cucumbers and Swiss chard. Probably will dig the Norgold Red taters in the next couple of weeks. The garden has been my getaway for over fifty years, although the last 1 1/2 years my turning time has cut into my garden time a bit. It a great match, Imthoroughy enjoy both.
