Finally turned one

I have been pretty busy doin other things and so I finally got to turn one today.

Looks nice Johnny. What is the detail you've done just above the centerband? It looks kind of like a bead.

The burl is red mallee from lee tannenbaum. The wood, no earthly idea. One of those surprises I grabbed out of the wood ben. It is a bead above the center band. Really dont know why i did it just wanted to.
