Finally got this guy into the booth

I can't remember if it is a Thuya Burl or some species of Mallee burl, but regardless I love this pen. Finished with Craft Coat and Magic Juice! Still working on lighting and figuring our this little booth thing but let me know what you think!

I would favour an Aussie burl,they vary even in species,not Thuya which is distinctive.You would have a clue Red Mallee is a very hard timber and I could show you many pens etc made from Red Mallee that match your beaut pen.
