My daughter and son-n-law are coming down from Okla at tge end of next month. They have a small business of refurbished case knives, t-shirts, purses, etc.. We have a small festival in a small town and they are bringing stuff for a booth. They want me to put some of my stuff in. Sounded good to me, maybe make a few bucks. Lol

Finished me another sheath for a small pocket knife today and also turned out a couple bottle stoppers.

wishing you a successful time.

I've just started leatherwork to make covers for my draw knives, spoon carving knives and axes . It's quite addictive !

this one was a challenge as it's curved both length ways and width ways . .I ended up making a card template to fit the.pn vpcutting the leather to match that with an allowance fit the cover flap . All have inset strips to cushion the blade and stop it slicing my stitching.

Not bad for beginning! Pattern making is the toughest for me. Stitching looks good. I like to use a stitch line so I can get a nice even stitch. The Inset Strips you are referring to is called a Welt. Keep on keeping on. Looking good.
