I finally broke down and got me some gentleman pen kits. Oh my gosh, these things are huge!! I had fits doin my first one. It took me over three hours to get it done. Doesn't look perfect but good for the first one. It is done in Red Mallee from Lee Tannenbaum. Great stuff.

Well Johnny, for whatever problems you had, it looks like you were able to overcome them and make a great looking pen. Makes me want to try and make a gentleman. Great looking wood, love the look of the red mallee.

I know there was another earlier thread talking about how the drill bits kinda intimidated someone. Boy howdy did they ever. When I saw the bits, i started thinking about how big the pen was going to be.
