Well I finally got a couple Pendants to stay on the lathe....:rolleyes:

I worked at the Woodworking Show in Mesquite, TX. yesterday at the Craft Supply booth. They were looking for volunteers to assist them in hands on pen turning. We helped about 20 people turn their first pens in about 7 hours....
For helping them, I got in free and 20% off what I bought. I decided to try thier Double Sided Turners tape.

Well. that was the bomb!!

Man, that's tempting.... It is a sort of figure 8 piece of Red Malee Burl Cap about 1-1/2" thick at it thickest point..... Maybe I will cut it into one shallow bowl and the rest into Pendants.....

And I think it is Zebrawood, too, but wasn't completely sure

Very nice! I agree on the zebra wood... Personally, I'd love to see your backdrop turned into pendants!

they are both nice, I also like the first one, and agree on the wood of the Zebra variety. Was my first thought before i read any replies.

A natural edge pendant or two our of the burl cap would be insane! $40 necklace.
