filling cracks in sapwood

I'm not sure if this belongs here or in the stabilization forum. I just bought what I think is the best deal on amboyna burl I've ever found. He did tell me there is some cracking in the sapwood. Depending on the size of the cracks, could I just fill them with ca glue and turn them as though they don't exist or will they still cause a problem?

CA shouyld not cause any problems. If the cracks are more than hairline cracks, you can mix some pearlex or mica powder with the thick CA to add some contrasting lines.
