Figured Satinwood, an Amboyna Burr Duo and a Brown Malllee Burr!!

Hi,

Had a busy few days making!

The Figured Satinwood is one of my new favourite woods, especially for a none burr. Figure isn't the normal curly type that i normally get in sycamore of maple, but more like bees-wing? Either way very holographic!

Then the Amboyna Burrs, fairly light pieces compared to some Ive had but still up there with the best woods! These ones were the last in the batch I had from Wolfdancer! Very Nice!

Oh, and to finish off another favourite, Brown Mallee Burr!

Cheers Toni, have to say although Amboyna always looks amazing, mines probably the Brown Mallee! Just so many eyes!!

They're all very nice. Fit & finish seem spot on and the photos are crisp & clear. I love a nice piece of Amboyna but that Mallee is an outstanding example.

Thanks, glad I bought the whole burr cap when I cut into for the first time! It's like that all the way through!!
