Figured cherry wood long range jig box

This box was made during the biggest weather event my community has seen in over 20 years. Exciting just to make it to the shop each day. The buyer wanted quilted mahogany which is like finding a unicorn. I searched over 100 boards and decided on plan B when I found the board used for this box. The buyer agreed with my selection.

During the build lots of pen were made too!

8+ hours per night or so my sleep number reports. I am driven and seem incapable of too much slacking. I do like to read.

Mark, you are an inspiration. The quality of your work is unparalleled, the quantity and variety of your work is amazing. I am hoping to retire from my day job around the end of this year, and I hope to be able to spend a lot more time in my shop, as you are clearly able to do.

If you truly enjoy what you do, it never seems like work. (OK, almost never)
