Here are some photos of my new driveway fence which I replaced over the last 5 days or so. It's 4' tall. The posts were sunk into the concrete patio when the house was built in 1990, and they are spaced too far apart (a little over 10' for each side). The post that is shown in the close-up had to be replaced, so I spent 2 days chipping out the concrete with a cold chisel and pry bar. The top braces are on their sides and nailed between the posts rather than laying on top of the posts. My hope is that this helps to prevent these really long beams from sagging. Note the worn out fence in the background -- that's a project for the Spring.

The grass is greener on the other side of the fence.

Seriously, we have a ton of grass but it's all in the front and back yards and these pics are taken on the side by the driveway.
