I was very excited to see my "plastics" auction package on my front porch when I got home... new playthings, hooray!

Went to the "regular" mailbox and was surprised to see a box...didn't remember buying anything (but that does happen more often as age sneaks in)... saw a return address of Michael Redburn (mredburn/www.silverpenparts.com) and KNEW I had not ordered anything (he has made me several custom items and I frequently drool over his site). Opened the box and found a note re my recent misfortunes with the post office and a little black pen box. Pic below shows what was in that box.

I thank you, my friend, you truly made my night (week), and made me recognize the quality of so many of our members and friends here at the IAP.

Jon, what did I say in regards to your mishap with the PO? It may turn out well in the end. With good folks like Mike and Roy and many more, I just knew that it would turn out good for you. We do have the best folks here who will always do good deeds. It's nice being associated with great IAP friends.:smile:

Yay!!!! I'm glad the rods finally made it...I used nearly a whole roll of tape so I hope there weren't any holes in it!

That was great of Mike to send that to you. We really do have the best and most generous people here.
