Good day all.

I am working on some dip pens. I have a bunch of spare nibs and feeds from Baron kit pens. I would like to tap my dip pen holders to fit this feeds. The feed acts as a small resevoir when dipped, allowing a longer write time between dips.

I have the taps for the bock feeds and the schmidt rollerball convertor. As far as I know, neither of these taps are correct.

Does anyone know the thred size for these and where I can get a tap.

Thanks

I don't have an answer for you here, but do want to offer a word of caution- be sure your customers know this is a dip fountain pen, not a dip pen. The 2 use different ink and the shellac in dipping ink will ruin that feed & nib.

Best of luck :)

I believe they will be 8.5 x 1

see if they will screw into a standard Sierra front end where the tranny goes.

Thanks John. Will make sure to add that as a note. I have spoken to a few people that actually use regular fountain pen ink.

Mike & Ken. I am looking for the thread on the actual feed, not the section. I know the tap I use to chase the baron so that it will fit the rollerball convert or is M6.4x.5 so it must be close to that.
