I got home at around 5:20 pm tonight and my wife informed me that a Woodcraft Rep. Called this morning and apologized for the mix up and informed her that they were sending out a set of bushing over night. Then she handed me a box that says woodcraft with USPS label on it and told me that it arrived this afternoon in the mail. So I checked on line with the tracking link provided by Woodcraft and it says expected delivery is now the 31st but shows that the package Left Phoenix Az. at 1:51 am went through Las Vegas arrived in the Pahrump post office at 9:04 am and went out for delivery at 10:33 am and it was delivered at about 1:00 PM So it got here 3 days ahead of schedule. However this set still does not fit so I got out the calibers and here is what I have found. The tube is .492 ID. The bushing is .4955 OD at the tip that goes in the tube first and .492 OD at the base. So I am waiting on the third set to check them. I called Woodcraft and just missed their tech by about 15 minutes 9:00 pm est. so the operator gave me an e-mail to contact.
So at this point I think they are trying to make it right and I thank them for that and for the phone call.
I will do an up date on what the tech's find out, by the way am I the only one having this issue (lucky Me).

Got home tonight and true to their word there was a FED-EX box form Woodcraft, It had a new set of bushings (Third Times a Charm right). After opening the box I noticed right off that these bushings don't look like the other two sets, they are Black Steel not gray. They have a much smoother finish and best of all THEY FIT THE TUBES.:bananen_smilies051: Now I get to go play in the shop.

I'm sorry to hear you've had so much trouble with getting the correct bushings. You'd have thought they would have made sure to get it correct sooner than three times, but at least they got there. Probably a mix-up in warehouse stock and took them a while to figure it out... Glad you're back to turning!
