Whenever I make a pen, even when using beautiful materials and adding accent rings and clips etc., it isn’t until the nib is added that it really comes to life. This pen I made from a dark tortoise cellulose and the customer asked for a 14k gold Bock nib. However this one has a keyhole breather...

Man that is nice! How do you shine up the threads without damaging them? I starting making bespoke and I can polish pretty good. Just don't know how to so the threads without causing damage.

I don't polish the threads at all. Its all about cutting them nice and clean to start with. Took a bit of practice (and a bin full of blanks) but thats the key to it!
