Great Job Jeff.......you've renewed my interest. Back in 2016 I bought 3 sets of these Herringbone sets. After 9 years of shuffeling them around the shop and not making them, can you believe somehow one piece from each set came up missing. The Company Laserlinez is now out of business. McKenzie pens which took them over is not into as yet making the Herringbones, but anyone, I only need one piece for each set. Studying the pieces, I believe I'm going to give a try using my power carver to carve one that really close. The way they all fit together I'm hoping that I can come close enough to blend in my carved piece into the 19 other pieces. Kind of like the old puzzle, "Where's Waldo". Love your pen and maybe this will get me going.
 
As a former segmenter, I love the artistry represented in this. The Herringbone looks flawless, but I especially like the segmented accent ring - that is not as commonly seen and your is beautiful. 👏 👏 👏 👏
 
The nicest 360 herringbone (not using a skeleton) that I have seen. I've made several so I know the amount of time and work that goes into making these blanks. Yours are flawless. The sections are especially nice. Thanks for sharing.

But how do you achieve such precision? What tools do you use? Is there a tutorial that can approximate this result?
My chevron designs always have a flaw, a misalignment during gluing; it's frustrating.
