the one that sells :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
the last 3 that i've made
2 cigars
1 Triton RB
kinda like the cigars myself

Ballpoint:
My favorite ballpoint is the clicker.
next is the Euro style. I really like the Neopean from Lau Lau. Looks like a Euro, but larger, and uses the double twist tranny like the cigar.
next would be the cigar.

Rollerball/Fountain:
Low end (under $10) I like the Orion

Mid Range (below $30) I like the jr retro.

My favorite high end kit ($30+) is the marksman.

I have really liked the Cigars all along, just wondering which kind others like.
I think I need to try another cigar pen. I have only made one, a cigar hybrid in buckeye burl, and I hate it. It's too big and clumsy feeling. I have 2 kits that I haven't bothered using yet.

Everyone seems to like them though, so I think it may be me :rolleyes:

I've always liked cigars myself. However, I've grown to like the looks of the Euro/Designer, and I've especially grown fond of the American/Streamline American/Flattop/etc... basically the style that is modeled after the 1920's Parker (The New Series would also fit into this category). Smitty sent out a bunch in one of his trades and I was fortunate enough to get in on it. After using one, I just knew I'd like it. I don't much care for twist caps, but with the new style threading they've been putting on them it only takes 1/4 turn to post the cap, so I liked that. Plus, the Streamline comes in Gold Ti, so there's another plus. It has a classic styling, and really nice feel. PSI's Classic, and Classic Elite II, while being 10mm tubes, also would fit into this category.

I've also done a bunch of Monet's, and ordered a bunch of Le Roi's (both elegant and regular). I like the single barrel, and finial twist action. Naturally, I also like the Aero's.

Truth is, my favorite probably depends upon which day it is. I can't remember making a specific style pen set that I didn't particularly like. I didn't care for the slimlines at first, but once I ditched the center band it didn't seem that bad. Now, I sometimes even like the center band in place. They are fun to do because they allow lots of room for going outside the bushings.
