Favor please???

Can someone do me a favor please and measure the tubing used for a sierra kit. or a sierra vista. they are the same. In inches would be good.

wall thickness

I just want to make sure my measurements match someone elses before I continue to pursue my quest to find longer tubes.
Wonder if .010 and .014 make that much difference in wall thickness???

Looks like I can get close but not exact.

i.d .390
wall thk .010

I think if you went .014 wall thk and increased it to the inside, as in
making the i.d. smaller, you would have a rough road on pressing parts in.
probably split barrels, etc., with ALL OTHER THINGS BEING EQUAL.

It also might affect the area where the lower end of the tube sits on the connector piece. THe part where the transimission screws in. I measure that at .385 o/d.

I wonder why the pen companies don't offer this tube in 12" lengths??? It is a very popular size with all the sierra versions out there. They offer the 10mm.

John -- it takes a 5000 piece minimum order from most of the asian sources - that will take some warehouse time to use.
