Until I solve the CA allergy problem, I am trying some alternatives that equal the speed and polish of CA.
Here is one that is fast and looks like the CA, but udoubtedly lacks the durability:
-Mylands sanding sealer sanded wet into a slush to fill pores.
-Sand through to wood and then sand and MM through all grits.
-White diamond buff.
-Flood with BLO and dry off.
-Apply 3 coats of sealer just like CA (no sanding netween coats).
-Apply Mylands friction polish.
It looks good, but I don't know how it will hold up.
Does anyone have any similar experience or comments about this?
