Made from Rosewood. I left the ends of the barrels "proud" so as to give it a bigger feel without the hourglass shape being pronounced. This is actually my biggest seller right now. Let me know what you think.

Another way whould be to put a "Turks head" on the bottom, and have it rounded.
Examples in this picture would be from the left#1,3,&10,less pronounced on number 9

So that's what those little bumps are called........ I always thought a Turk's Head was a decorative knot???
Nah. that's what I call them, that's why I put it in quotes.
Thought you were gonna catch me Huh?
Oh BTW a turks head is Marlin spike and being useful though it may be pretty it is not necessarily considered decorative.
Possibly you are thinking of your macrame days.

I just make sure the CA/BLO gets on the ends. Just make sure you wax your bushings first!

<br />Nice looking pens. How does the rosewood turn? I haven't tried it yet.

Rosewood turns easy, but once in a while it has some open grain. Sands down nice and easy. Pretty easy to work with.

Nice looking pen. The way your using the slimline design makes it look it's a different style. I'm going to try one of those. I like the rosewood also.
