Father Sing pens were designed by Dick Sing, in conjunction with CSUSA. It is a slimline with a longer lower tube (all 7mm). Dick always thought the slimline would be improved if it were closer to the ratio of the Euro.

If you make it without a centerband, it looks a lot like the KC (Kip Christensen) pen. (I believe this is also the same pen).[:)][:)]

It is about the only slim line I will turn. Beside being longer it also has a thicker centerband.

I've made all of my slimlines with a longer lower barrel for quite awhile now. I also like the upper barrel larger than the lower. I also don't use the CB or make my own and often burn lines on the lower end of the upper barrel. But I've never purchased a Father Sing or a KC Twist. Sorry, Dick and Kip, but slimlines are cheaper.

Do a good turn daily!
