It's not Marble wood.

When Woodcraft had them on sale for $.99, I picked up a bunch. Found a couple with sapwood, and this piece was quite a lot of sapwood.

Yep. Although the person who guessed Australian Cypress was a good guess.

I don't smell it while turning myself since I wear a respirator, but I do agree, and because of that recently left a LV Longwood bare wood finished (need to post that one too).

Haven't seen much LV with the sapwood and thought it unique. Some of it has since started turning green, but I don't have pics of that since it's with my mother.

Now I remember it. I would have also guessed Cumaru though. It also has the "bland" look to it :tongue:
