Finished this morning. I was careful to paint both block and tubes for this material. I love the look of the blank but did not like working with it. Small inclusions/air bubbles required multiple reshaping, sanding and polishing. I do like the white with the antique pewter components.

That is a nice looking pen! Bubbles and pin holes are a pain in the behind, for sure! Especially in an expensive colored blank.

How do you deal with the pin holes? I've tried CA, CA with paint, and CA with dust from the blank. I'm not happy with any of these. Paint and epoxy is my next try.

From what I can tell from the pictures, there are still pinholes there, even if filled with CA. One can always try turning the piece down a bit to see if those holes go away, but there's likely other others deeper down as well. Difficult business.
